It's hard to choose one favorite piece, since the album stands well as a unique movement. After couple of listens, the sequence Speech Impediment/Perpluzzle/Walk Against Wind is very consistent. Usually, the bass supports the rhythm section, at least in the jazz albums I am familiar with. Here, the bass is (naturally) more at the front. The bass leaves room for other intruments, but the space it takes seems original. The album succeeds in creating a unique moving atmosphere. Excellent album!
