'I'm impressed with the game for so many reasons; but the surprising thing about Celeste is how it handles mental illness and anxiety. The story is, in fact, centred around that premise from a narrative and mechanical perspective.

To boot, the composer (Lena Raine) did an amazing job with the soundtrack to create a really strong sense of environment in each section of the game, not to mention they're good tunes on their own.

Ben Prunty's work is always interesting; layers of synths and ambient moods are a speciality. I feel like when he writes that this soundtrack for "Into the Breach" was among the hardest he's had to compose, i can see why.

It has his style, but the overall mood and feel of the music is grander, more cinematic. For an apocalypse, it's perfect.

Full Metal Furies is incredibly underrated. The game is sterling, good old fashioned hack 'n' slash fun with a far more interesting combat system than most games, but turns into mind bendingly interesting puzzles in the late game. I was shocked and impressed.

The soundtrack is equally impressive and underrated, taking interesting cues from acoustic guitar/lyre to represent the Greek mythology roots everywhere in the game, to prog rock and more electronic pieces. 10/10
