I'm 50 years old and HATED the music that this album is derived from when it was current. I've listened to Deep Underground music since I was 13. What this brilliant artist has done is made it sound nostalgic while serving as ambient music (especially while driving). I use it the same way I use Eno's Music For Airports or Klaus Schulze's Inter-face. Listening to it I feel like I'm driving in a cheesy low budget 90s movie where the film quality is bad, the acting is bad, the scenes are poorly edited, it goes from night to day in one scene, and the music is trying to sound polished but just doesn't. I've listened to this the ENTIRE day while driving. Can't turn it off so I bought it!
