A journey from start to finish. Otherworldly and surreal atmospheres flow in and out. The fusion of influences heard here is far reaching. Highly under rated release.
Not much else can be said that hasn't already been said. Monumental release. Burial's influence is still heard 11 years later and will likely continue to be heard for many years to come.
Beautifully crafted and presented LP. Aether's mix of delicate piano progressions and harps, along with his command and control of deep sub frequencies is a staple of his sound and makes this a unique and extremely noteworthy album.
Still need time to fully take this one in. But another amazing offering from Pensees. The ideas and creativity put forth by this artist never cease to amaze me.
The syncopated rhythms in Shutta, the dissonant pad work, foley shuffles of Exit Wounds, and the eerie sampling in Ghost Hardware makes this one memorable release.
