This is a remarkable album. As one who has been pursuing silence, solitude and stillness for years this is the sound that makes me want to stay on in all three.
Caleb is in the space between and the driver of new music with spoken word poetry emerging in the works out of stories of depression, anxiety and lived experience that have no easy fixes. It is a brilliant work and needs a wide audience.
Caleb College is a creative stream from another time and place and a dear friend. I commissioned him / he offered to write a work for my exhibition of drawings and prints at Mayne Line Gallery during COVID-19 in July 2020 themed around the climate crisis and the challenge it brings to bees as pollinators. His band played this as I drew a scaled up bee drawing on a Burren [ Eire] Landscape backdrop. They carried me and those present.
