  2. Hymns Of Doom
    by Szar
    00:00/00:00
    White Orchid White Orchid
Loud as a scream echoing on the deepest hell's crypts, piercing as the dark arrow that ends all life on you. Vibrating on your ears and molesting your soul, this play certainly is a down-tone exaltation for the emptiness that comes just after the death; the doom itself.
  3. Mill Street Blues
    by Lord Vapour
    00:00/00:00
    Bong Song Bong Song
Perfect play for when you get high and have some wavy desire on your head to go beyond tripping habitat whether traveling on an Opel GT, a joint at hand, or riding a mysterious winged beast, feeling the wind inertia all over your body and the thick colors from that smooth universe sky. I mean, this trio earned those features for it by cooking some fuzz, desert road, cannabinoids, blues and, last but not least, some lo-fi, I think. It's a whole musical tripping universe for high exploration!

Mine is Yours to Drown In (Ours is the New Tribe) Mine is Yours to Drown In (Ours is the New Tribe)
Stomping single. It pays an amazing tribute to the original track, keeping the same dreary weight, yet bringing more despair and unhope, more "your soul being dragged to an abyss, but at the same time, the acceptance of the end spreading atmospherically over the song, leading to nihilist peace"... Energetically stunning from the intro (it acclimatises a moist crypt, then BOOM... Gloomy bolt on your chest, deforming soul on a carnal level) to the ghastly guttural (Listen. Listen. Listen!).

    Drug Addict Drug Addict
Addictive as the gruesomest drugs that this world already decanted. Groovy satanism, fuzzy pessimism, hypnotizing wah-wah, phased chords, convenient intro sources (given the album proposal), malice, lisergy; just the fucking way it has to be to join a trip across our filthy human (de)generation. It may appear to have some riffs honoring some others doom spectres like EW, Uncle Acid and Dead Meadow, yet I've heard these aren't their main influences. The whole Whore invites for use'n'abuse!

    I ain´t superstitiuos I ain´t superstitiuos
Have a cup of coffee or tea, take a seat, put some earphones, cross your legs and shake slightly and slowly your neck enjoying this Death'n'Blues. Down tones, wily drums and buzzy guitar will soon make you think that some boaster drunk devil is around dancing and enjoying the shit out along with you, while you get on his vibe too. For the record: that cover constituted at least 90% of my purchase. "Damn, vicious Doberman crushing down someone...I surely have to put this on my ears".
  9. Thrones In The Sky
    by Son Of A Witch
    00:00/00:00
    Jupiter Cosmonaut Jupiter Cosmonaut
It only took minutes plus "one restless dawn" for "Jupiter Cosmonaut" harshly spores in my brain, and thenceforward, by its cosmic fuzzy riffs and hefty bass'n'drums, i couldn't kill the latent idea of constantly associate the whole "Thrones In The Sky" with the space himself and its components: ulterior entities, glows, darkness, void, cold, lifeless, doom. With epiphany i still dare to say: "Thrones In The Sky" seems to be universe himself in a musical sphere! I'll do this trip over and over!
  10. Sputnik 1957
    by Vênus Negra
    00:00/00:00
A mortal who try high the band songs will soon find that it doesn't belongs to this world or to this solar system. Fuzzy and "floating aimlessly" piece, it belongs to another comprehension; dwells on the most faraway distance that the russian satellite could reach on the universe; in other words: far away from our earthly insignificance. Alive they are likewise amazing, and I told to Jack:"Keep releasing". So, reasserting: "Keep releasing", cause eager am I for more 0-gravity psychedelia!

    Dopesmoke Dopesmoke
November 6,2015. On this day i had met my doom. That was the day i aquired this. And as i wrote on the WW lastfm's page, just two days after "a weekend of addiction to these lazy riffs and ominous vocals": Since that day, and after only two, there were at least 10 complete plays of this full lenght. Now i know i'm writting some months late, but since then my ears and brain where doomed for at least 400 times (precisely 437 scrobles on my lastfm account). Caution: WW is incredibly addictive!

    00:00/00:00
The Serpent's Alive The Serpent's Alive
A release a long time desired (actually since Creedsmen). There dwells a plot beyond comon sapience. That cover blasts thy eyes with a blue'n'gray planet, atmospherically immersed in bane, kissed by acid sparks from the Outer Space while this one witness omnipresent, but stoic, the invocation of the deformed entity whose "people forged in darkness" would name (with omen, fear and admiration): Olde One. I shall bequeath: 5:03's riff from "The Serpent Is Alive" took my sentience 4.20 levels above.

    No Brakes No Brakes
3 AM, trying to sleep. Then something, some ominous force maybe, drives you on to the BC. You find yourself digging down some sound from NoSlip Records. That Lithuanian band appears (holy SHIT... Lithuanian!). I believe in doom; (un)fortune. Possible is that some eldritch predestined energy drove me here, to this faraway shady path, where I crossed with this masterpiece, for sure thy bassy loathful chords and wardrums viciously tempered by dark arts. Damned praises to that awesome SV cover!

Cadáver da Terra Cadáver da Terra
My talking about brazilian stoner/doom scene would be suspect, since i live here, a land where that kind of metal genre is increasingly helping to shed some darkness and fuzz around this wicked doomed world. Very glad to meet such fresh (but still great) release/band, wich whorthily, darckly, with damnation and pestilent riffs gives power and valor to the brazilian doom metal. I hope this sabbathic-dopesmokish offspring now and henceforth haunt first our lands, and then the Earth ruins.

Maloik (The Sign) Maloik (The Sign)
One more "dawn insomnia" finding (in truth, curiously, the second australian in less than a month). Thanks to Hand Of Doom Radio I could discover it, a gray sorrowful smoky work, and not only for the sound itself, but that cover, man... Such a morbid creativity you have there, Judd. Some tracks flirts with some good exp/prog; nice! I'm sad just for the low price i had to pay for support, due to personal economical issues (my poor apologies). You work SURELY deserves much, fucking much more.

    00:00/00:00
    Uncontrolled Uncontrolled
I could catch at least one of the many sources (fucking love when an artist uses that musical feature). There is one on almost every song, like an infamous Charles Manson dialogue introducing "Uncontrolled", a song full "prey-fear-agony" and a imminent fierce madness. By the way, the whole play seems to exhale that energy; violence, death, savagery, bloodlust, aggressivity...The beast on its pith; rough and pure killing instinct. Surely 90's groove/stoner influence too. Banging until the death!

Wish You Were Here Wish You Were Here
Mandowar's releases always being impressive, puting you in a passionate position where is impossible to don't re-listen at least 2 times in a row. One especially caught me for the alternative arrangments: "Wish You Where Here", one of my most loved songs of all time; essentially for somes parts where the small guitar plays with kind and nostalgic energy, reminding me from one time where i was very happy and did not knew it. Think talented ones like Mandowar have this feature on their songs.

    00:00/00:00
Fistful Of Bullets Fistful Of Bullets
Not only make great versions from other classic rock-metal-country-whatever tracks we all love, but also has it's own authorial master pieces, like, if i'm not wrong, "Fistful Of Bullets". Man, here in Brazil i still haven't found a single people who knows them, and that makes me sad: how can a talented and versatile group like this one still remain so underrated? But don't worry, cowboys, i've got a fistfull of bullets and my head full of booze, and i'm already spreading them among my friends!
