Because I've always been a pagan.

My Mom was a singer in her youth, even sang with a big deal big band (Maynard Ferguson). I grew up loving the music she did. This album reflects the real fun my Mom had in social settings. She loved people and she loved a good time. If she was still here we would have been listening to this while baking and dancing in the kitchen!

Too many good tracks to pick just one as my fav but if I have to it would be Keep a Little Christmas in your Heart...for my Mom :)

This album brings me back to a time in my life when I thought humans would get together and solve all the problems in the World.

I was very young.

But running through all of these tracks is a gentle humanity that makes me wonder and hope that we still can...all things are possible.

This amazing sound track brought me right back to a time in my life when I saw the world as full of wonder and positive possibilities.

And made me realize that can still be the case!

Vallat brought me to this album but I stayed for the hurdy gurdy! If you are looking for some winter solstice listening I highly recommend. Introspective tracks interspersed with many energetic ones that will have you dancing round a bonfire!
