An amazing set. I could feel the live energy even through the speakers on my cell phone.

Love Is The Devil's foe Love Is The Devil's foe
Stark and gripping. And now I know what was missing from Tom Petty's original version of "Free Falling."
  10. Switzerland 1974
    by Soft Machine
    Hazard Profile Hazard Profile
I knew I wanted the album about 30 seconds into Hazard Profile. A wonderful example of their brilliance live, but I had trouble selecting a favorite track because almost the entire album sounds like one long multi-part song (like the second side of Abbey Road).
  11. Jubilee
    by Old Crow Medicine Show
    Nameless, TN Nameless, TN
I can't believe this is the first Old Crowe Medicine Show album I have purchaed, but what a fabulous way to start my collection!

Two classics that sound as fresh as they did when they originally were released 60 years ago.

  18. Nothing's Gonna Stand in My Way Again
    by Lydia Loveless
    Toothache Toothache
Every Lydia Loveless album is a treat and this is no exception. Her music always grabs me first, with her lyrics sinking in more and more with each listen.
  19. Le jour et la nuit du réel
    by Colleen
  20. gap
    by Electric Orange
    das bunte das bunte
Four great and varied songs: “cyanine” and “the gap” get right to the point; “merkstein” hovers for 13 minutes before taking flight; and “das bunte” starts aggressively, then continues to build for 15 minutes.
