It's definitely different with tons of experimentation, but that's why it stands out. His familiar melodies are still there (especially the yelling which we all love) around a lot more electronic sounds versus guitar.
Sonically, it's one of the best sounding records I've heard in a while. Not that something shiny automatically sounds great, but this one does. The songs are a great evolution from this band.
