Difficult to say what in this album grabs you, but it does. it’s like you stand on a pit, you tell yourself not to look down, but you can’t but. It’s maybe just Poland, the beauty and the repulsive (“odraza”!), all in one Country, all in one People.
they balance between slowcore (previous EVOL was a bore) and sludge-core of the highest quality and intensity. This is a live band, no doubt, and to me it seems that what they put on records is but a mild anticipation of what lays ahead on stage. So let’s hope for a quick resolve of the covid stall and go see them live!
