As my teenage mind's tastes branched from straight-up punk to weirder stuff (2007 I believe) I picked up this CD - one hell of an introduction to Lightning Bolt, but in a good way. Right from the get-go it's equal parts intoxicating and abrasive (I played it on my college radio show - some very confused faces strolled by the window.) Inexperienced listeners may find it unbearable, but to me it's aged like a fine wine, perfect to throw on to fry my mind and give my eardrums a workout.
