It’s been so long since meeting Michel Waisvisz and hearing live his presentation of the Hands in NYC in the late 70’s, uptown on B’way, if memory serves me well. I photographed the performance with great results however through the years all has been lost.

I still adore and have collected recordings featuring Michel such as Steve Lacy’s Saxophone Special & Lumps. His solo outings on both lp & cd respectively, Crackle & In Tune.

I’m sure Michel will be back one day to delight us once again!
