I do not say this lightly: this is the most exciting and interesting metal album I've heard since Colors. The album as a whole is a mind blowing, even frightening experience at times (in the best of ways). The guests are spot on, and the compositions are incredibly detailed and intriguing. I hope that this whole "20th-century-classical+metal" thing takes off, because bands like Imperial Triumphant, Painted in Exile, and Gorguts are making me really excited for the future of underground metal.
