To me he has a Baudelaire sound, ideally. It seems to feel the last moments prior dying, or being already dead. Here his trademark dark synths meet layers of excellent processed vocals. Metaphysical, somehow philosophical, sometimes ethereal, or dramatic, or even tragic . . .

Full respect to Dex and those around him. I admire the raw art of Tape Noise, apparently detached from concepts of beauty, sellings, pleasing someone. Art as genuine expression, with a firm 'experimental' character, as visible in their Weird Garden.

The distinctive style and the unique rage in Stewart's lyrics/vocals had always been amazing to me. Very influential.

Nice when someone keeps alive the tension of 'classic' industrial. Also 'cinematic', to use a word widely used these days.

I like most the early tracks of Myers where the trademark feedback is more evident, together with the pretty artifacts of those older circuits. Nice compilation.

Inside this research I also hear something fairy and infantile(both nice words).
  16. Mars - remastered
    by Exile Pots
He's got a distinctive sound. Somehow brit... Quite easily recognisable. Emotional, never obvious, elegant. That's an intense track.
  17. Destroyer
    by HWWAUOCH
Back in the 90s Agathocles demolished much of heavy metal structure; they've been heavily attacked. Here excess goes further on, adding reverbs and noise until abuse: thus, in my opinion, connecting with the contemporary, ending the approach to anything "pretty", having lost much of its sense.
  18. Chemical Illusion
    by HWWAUOCH
Beyond grindcore, towards unpolished disgust. Once whoever started producing sounds was either a good musician or a noise-maker. Here both collapsed, ultimately merging, to form an innovating language.
  19. I Move The Borders Of Death
    by Julien Palomo
  20. Sleepwalking Form
    by Pharmakon
This thick track has a great potential. Love its long fade-in with that similar square wave, its martial "boom", the "chorused" parts...I'd like a future re-master with a darker(or warmer) sound and a bit less odd harmonics harshness.
