  1. Don't Tell Me Why
    by Yota
This wonderful and nostalgic track takes me to another place in time and space. I'm so greatful!
  2. Up All Night (feat. Matthew Clanton) [Single]
    by Moonrunner83
  3. Karacan Kombo 1

Yildizlarin altinda (Alla Turca) Yildizlarin altinda (Alla Turca)
I was lucky enough to experience Karacan Combo live, which is an absolute highlight. As a band they harmonize perfectly and radiate a lot of life energy. The music is an exciting mixture of different influences. Sometimes rather melancholic and then again full of joie de vivre. I'm really looking forward to the next album.

  11. Lost in a Dreamworld
    by Betamaxx
  12. Migrant Birds
    by TootArd
  13. Monsters
    by The Midnight
    Deep Blue Deep Blue
I saw The Midnight last fall in Zurich, where they played Seventeen in addition to the two already available tracks. These three tracks and the brilliant artwork by Aaron Campbell were more than enough for the decision to pre-order the vinyl.
  14. Deja Vu
    by FM Attack
  15. New World
    by FM Attack
    Shadows Shadows
Definitely no "Deja Vu" to the previous albums - wonderful to see when artists are not afraid to develop further. The album is quite diverse and yet homogeneous: From Dreamwave tracks ("Dark Blue Sky") via Daft Punk ("Let You Go") to tracks of Gothic "Rock" and 80s/90s Darkwave, Sisters of Mercy ("New World") and Cure ("Believe"). In "Believe" Blake Voss apparently borrowed Smith's vocal chords. The highlight is "Shadows" with a nostalgic combination of 90s darkwave and synthwave.
  16. Landline
    by Von Kaiser
    Wolfhart Wolfhart
Von Kaiser created their own combination of Popwave, Dreamwave, 80s pop rock and power ballads. With this combination they stand "on the shoulders of" artists like The Midnight, Kristine, LeBrock, Kim Wilde, Robin Beck, Belinda Carlisle and even a little touch of M83. Highlights of the album are Armitage, Jetpacks, Landline, Crystal Lake, Stars & Satellites and Wolfhart.
  17. Preface
    by Mördelin
    The Balance The Balance
I rated each song with 4 to 5 stars, "The Balance" and "Spirals" are my highlights. Mördelin stands rightly self-confident "on the shoulders of" dark synth-pop artists like Depeche Mode.

Silence & Surrender [Neon] Silence & Surrender [Neon]
ironskullet.com brought me to this album. Outrageously good songs on the edge of the Synthwave genre. Vero's diverse vocal style reminds me of Kate Bush and Mila Mar. I wish Vero a steadily growing listener base and that she would develop her unique style further, so that this rough diamond is polished a bit without loosing its underground attitude.
