    As someone who listened to the extended cut religiously, I’m very blessed to know they hold Western Haikus up with this rerelease. The sound and lyrics almost feel similar to when I left my home state for a few years; the need to get away because you feel suffocated by those around you, but the loneliness is just as dangerous when all you have is inside your head. Could be just imagining that theme to the album, but it’s cathartic nonetheless.

Almost brings out the pure and frustrated (what I like to call) "yell" lyrics, something similar to the band; Single Mothers, something to blast and demand a basement-mosh for it, or to just jam in your car on your speedy way away from work.

    It's unfortunate that Marietta disbanded, but they couldn't have ended on a better note. As it Were is a reflection into a lot of youths' struggle with both aging and losing friends to time, and that it's okay to feel those things, even if for a little while.

    Honestly, the best Punk album I never heard till it was too late. An album to play at the end of a long and toxic friendship (not a breakup, an actual friend). Glad to know the band still has warm memories, even if they never get back together. Had it not been for this album, I wouldn't be studying sound arts or learning to play/edit music at 25. Thank you Title Fight, may all of you live to the fullest.
