Cicada is setting a new record for how great it can be to make wonderful music using classical instruments. The songs are 10/10 and the arrangements are extremely well done. Beautiful melodies. Best recording quality to date. I mean literally BEST. The instrumental separation, the livestage, the placement of instruments, the clarity. I must say, WOW. This is a 10/10 material. Seriously. If you are an audiophile like me, buy it. BUY IT!
  13. Determination
    by RichaadEB // Amie Waters
    Nascency Nascency
The songs are really well presented. They are faithful to the feel of the OST, which are already brilliant on their own. Technically well done, crazily good arrangements. One little complain is that the recording sounds muffled at times. I just wish the guitar sound can be more punchy and clear to hear the texture of the amazing riffs.
  14. Mantiis
    by Obsidian Kingdom
Not Yet Five Not Yet Five
The songs are varied but not too varied to a point that you can see their deliberation. In the world of prog music, we need something new and original. I believe it is something new and original. It this album good? Oh, it's good. I just think it may not be their greatest album, because when this band matures, they should make iconic albums.
  15. Departure Songs
    by We Lost The Sea
A Gallant Gentleman A Gallant Gentleman
The songs are simple yet really well arranged and beautifully presented. Also I highly recommend you to read through the booklet / pdf file in the album, it's worth it. The songs fits the storyline just right and it is something original.
I really love how the simple notes can build up into the bigger picture and convey a immersive feel of the story itself.
