Why don't you take a look around.
Why don't you take a look around you.
Up there, you see that up there?
    Don't it...
Don't it...don’t it seem like we gain so much, from art that transmutes the kaleidoscope of being into an interference pattern of emotion?

I’ll get up when I have to.

jeezis christ, lucinda chua is just so good. SO GOOD. for some reason bandcamp isn't letting me select it, but my favorite track on this album is "Autumn Leaves Don't Come", which combines the sweeping beauty permeating this album with some of the off-kilter weirdness present on chua's strings mixtapes and in her earlier work as Felix. Honestly though they're all good tracks. I'm so happy she's still making music.
