Through the Wastes and the Fray Through the Wastes and the Fray
I can't express how this album just sent me to another dimension and finally at ease. The perfect soundtrack for escaping reality.

Jeg er Guden, I er Tjenerne Jeg er Guden, I er Tjenerne
There's not much to say about this album. I guess this is more like you should actually feel it instead of reading reviews of it. I believe it's a game changer, a pure gem amongst an industry which don't quite believe in metal anymore. I'm glad Myrkur is here to prove them that metal and folk music are alive and breathing and very well represented.

Den Lille Piges Død Den Lille Piges Død
I was completely blown away on the very first time I listened to this album. Knowing Myrkur's previous works I could have a taste of her beautiful and unique folk vocals, but this... This is definitely something else. The stripped versions of her songs are amazing. The atmosphere, layers of delightful vocals provided by Amalie and The Norwegian Girls Choir and the simple yet outstanding instrumental of these songs are beyond words to describe it.

Må Du Brænde i Helvede Må Du Brænde i Helvede
With this EP Myrkur already caught the attention of the whole Heavy Metal scene (unfortunately, some jerks paid attention to it on a negative and disrespectful way). It carries the essence of Black Metal and the folk nordic music both inspired by nature. With this body of work, Amalie shows she's here to STAY and to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

I believe Myrkur reached a higher level of inspiration and blended it beautifully with folk music and metal. And having Chelsea Wolfe on the top of it... Just PERFECT!!! So proud of being a supporter and a huge fan of Amalie's work.
