First Snow of The Year is the alias of Antwerp-based ambient artist Erik Sevenans. Originally, the recordings were created to just be his own private soundtracks for when reading Murakami novels. His compositions are balancing in between ambient and drum-less post-rock, exploring the hazy tones found in combining Telecasters, synthesizers and field recordings.
