  1. Can I have a word?
    by Thomas Hood
    Wanderer Wanderer
This is a deep and personal record; an incredibly creative way of telling the listeners of what happened, without exactly telling what happened. My first listen to it a week after it came out, and at the time I listened through it, but thought nothing much. as of now, I realize how personal this is and how appealing, and versatile the music is. I want to achieve the skill to create an album such as this, to tell a story and leave an ambiguity to the listener.

    All vocals are wonderful

    Freefall Freefall
This is what I've been missing. This magical fantasy in the clouds portrayed by ethereal piano melodies and cosmic synth pads. I love every song, and both singers nail the airy majesty of clouds in the track "Bloom."

Something like this I truly dream of making some day
  4. Good & Evil
    by Tally Hall
Never Meant to Know Never Meant to Know
It was hard to choose a favorite for this album. I was between &, Hymn for a Scarecrow, Turn the lights off, Out in the Twilight, and Never Meant to Know. Yeah, that's a LOT of favorites to choose between.

This album is very balanced compared to the last in some ways. Like many, I do prefer MMMM over G&E. G&E seems to reuse a lot instruments, and themes, which isn't bad. Just not my style compared to the variety of MMMM. Although this does have a lot more mature feeling compared to it.

    7/10
  5. Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
    by Tally Hall
Welcome to Tally Hall Welcome to Tally Hall
"The Hall is the place that aims to please"

This album is incredibly diverse musically. A lot of fun jams like Welcome To Tally Hall, Greener, and Good Day, and with more mysteriously quirky songs like Banana Man, Spring and a Storm, and Ruler of everything. And with those being all my favorites listed out, the rest are still incredibly good, and all give such a different mood.

Honorable Mentions: Taken for a Ride, Whole world and you, The Bidding
  6. Boston
    by Owl City
A fresh Owl City remix of an Augustana song.

I'm so happy to see he's making music again after his absence
  7. Wonders of the Ocean

Melody from a Mermaid Melody from a Mermaid
Very peacful music. Super immersive to the underwater envoroment, which is absolutly gorgeous. I love the album cover too. It's nice to listen to when you want to dwell on your thoughts
