Bill Mallonee sings songs that get deep into your bones, into your heart of hearts. A poet for the poets, his lyrics are profound and for anyone who has struggled in this life, you'll find comfort in his music. His music reminds me of the Psalms. A narrative of suffering and hope, of longing and a yearning for wholeness. I saw Bill play at the Woodsong Festival back in the summer of 2003 on Orcas Island, and I'll never forget it, and meeting him after playing a song during open Mic.
