  1. Quake - Nintendo 64: Official Soundtrack
    by Aubrey Hodges
Somehow renders the industrial grime and suffocating gloom of the Quake aesthetic and makes it even more oppressive, all while using a very small sample set - a great technical achievement, not to mention a brilliant sonic experience too. A late-night staple!
  2. Doom Playstation: Official Soundtrack - 20th Anniversary Extended Edition

Creeping Brutality (Level - UnHoly Cathedral) Extended Creeping Brutality (Level - UnHoly Cathedral) Extended
One of the greatest dark ambient soundtracks ever. Made the PSX version of Doom THE definitive one in my mind. Totally changes the tone of the game into something much more survival-horroresque at times. Even today this is a constant presence on my late-night playlists and is a huge influence on my own sonic experiments. Thank you.
  3. Axiom Verge Soundtrack

    Otherworld Otherworld
Love the darker and moodier tracks on this OST. Much like the game, it really captures the essence of the 2D Metroid series while adding some great modern twists. Perfect for late-night hacking playlists!
