I can't fit everything I want to say about this album into the review box. It's just that good. Suffice to say, Reed’s music defies being boxed into any particular category; it's delightfully diverse, but consistently intelligent – and always outdoes itself. In this case, Sol is emotive, intimate, and brazen. It is unforgiving and relentless; it commands you to *think*, however unpleasant this thinking may be. Just buy the damn album and buckle up. You don’t need your self, anyway.
