Only Everything Below Only Everything Below
I adore this. The part where he says "the flowers open as she passes, and the birds they sing to greet her" and then screams raw "though she heaves blood" always gives me chills. Also, "There is grace in a steeple collapsing" is such great line. Just, like, really really good poetry.

    YOU ASCENDANT YOU ASCENDANT
I don't like this album as much as Wildlife, but I remember when Rose Quartz/Fulton Street 1 premiered on YouTube (before the rest of the album). I listened to it on repeat that night for hours. You Ascendant is my favorite on the track just because of how meditative it is, just a raw contemplation of death.

    a Poem a Poem
This album has been in my heavy rotation for years. I've listen to it on repeat almost every day for the last few years, I think I discovered it in 2017. It got me through some really hard times. I was in a really low place when I was struggling pretty bad with bipolar disorder and not on meds, and the raw emotional honesty of this record really helped me. It's just nice to know other people have felt what you have felt.
