As others have alluded to, this takes me back to Gentle Giant mostly, and that is a very good thing. It has such character and familiarity but still remains so fresh and engaging. What a pleasure to listen to.

What can I say? There is just so much to get excited about with Bisbâyé, and so much more so with Synkronyk. Even with new tracks still on their way I still can't get enough of this album. I get a bit of a King Crimson feeling at times but it is beyond anything else out there and it is just so damn good!

    Balance Balance
This is one of those albums that just keep giving. What I mean by that is that it is full of richness in layers of interesting musical expression. It’s not overly technical in the vein of showing off but it is well varied in keeping the music moving forward. It took some time to get used to the orchestral backing in some of the songs but in the end it really keeps things fresh and interesting and serves the music well. I love this album. It is the only Contemplator album I know but I'm glad to have learnt about this amazing band. It is not often one discovers bands going the instrumental prog route, but I'm glad when it happens as I'm extremely fussy about vocals and that's why I normally stay away from those types of bands, unless the vocal do not get in the way but serve the music more so, musically. I like the rock sentiment and it is a good balance between the metal and rock approach. It is well mixed and I enjoy the heavy driven aspects as they contrast with the more melodic and catchy parts. What an enjoyable, well balanced, album. It’s such a pleasure to listen to.

I loved this album from the first spin. It just gets better from there. It is great to see a band push things musically without feeling the need for a vocalist. So glad it's just instrumental not being ruined by vocals, pure music. Very accessible in a good way and it touches different musical approaches and is so inviting, with its driving grooves and timing - amazing sounding album. One of my favourites for 2016 so far even though it's a 2015 release.

I still cannot fathom it, but it actually exists. Owane has a talent, not sure how he came to this ability but the demonstration is crystal clear and anything he has noodled with or polished is something astonishing. So glad it exists. I was one of the first 200 band camp members in time to qualify for the first 200 free copies of the album, after that it went to $7 or pay what you want over and above. $20 is what I put in and I still wanted to put in more after I heard the album. Most people won't hear this genius and his master piece album. It is a privilege and honour to be one of the few to revel in this exquisite music.
