This is one of those albums that just keep giving. What I mean by that is that it is full of richness in layers of interesting musical expression. It’s not overly technical in the vein of showing off but it is well varied in keeping the music moving forward. It took some time to get used to the orchestral backing in some of the songs but in the end it really keeps things fresh and interesting and serves the music well. I love this album. It is the only Contemplator album I know but I'm glad to have learnt about this amazing band. It is not often one discovers bands going the instrumental prog route, but I'm glad when it happens as I'm extremely fussy about vocals and that's why I normally stay away from those types of bands, unless the vocal do not get in the way but serve the music more so, musically. I like the rock sentiment and it is a good balance between the metal and rock approach. It is well mixed and I enjoy the heavy driven aspects as they contrast with the more melodic and catchy parts. What an enjoyable, well balanced, album. It’s such a pleasure to listen to.
