Just a brilliant alt rock record with amazing understated vocals but mountains of emotion thanks to the unforgettable melodies of many of the tracks, particularly "It Generates" and "Guide On Raging Stars". The first 5 songs are mind blowing, but that's not to take away from the rest of the album which is excellent too. "Hell's Coming With Me" is a big stand-out too. But yeah if you like "Host"-era Paradise Lost, New Order, Depeche Mode or anything in between, you'll love Iris.

So many great songs on here it's hard to pick a favorite, but "Not Enough" and "It's Not Alright" are two stellar tracks. Great vibe, synths and beats are on point, and the melodies are dynamite. Do not hesitate, buy this one. Immediately.

I loved the first album, and this new disc has all the best elements of the first with a new energy and pop sheen it's impossible to not love. At 1980 is the best group delivering retro synthwave today. You HAVE to buy this album. There's just no reason not to.
