  5. Dilettante Dawn
    by Renouncer
    Los Angeles Los Angeles
Three years worth the wait! Dilettante Dawn is a masterpiece from beginning to end, and really shows how Renouncer has grown as an artist. I wouldn't necessarily say this is "Living With People 2," as this album feels like it has its own identity. Whereas LWP was bittersweet, Dilettante Dawn is the opposite - sweetbitter? From the first single, I was already in love. This will forever go on my shelf as one of my top five albums to own.
  6. Brightest Lights
    by Lane 8
Yard Two Stone Yard Two Stone
Brightest Lights is the perfect title for this album - because it's some of the brightest music you'll ever hear. Not a single second is wasted with any of the tracks, and every kick drum and chord will strike you right in your feelings. There's not a single bland track here, and you'll be surprised with every listen.
  7. Get Well Soon
    by St. South
A Little Alive A Little Alive
A soft and mellow album that feels like it's holding your hand and assuring you it's all going to work out in the end. This is the perfect album to listen to while laying in bed, staring out the window after a long day. It's also the perfect album to listen to when you need to mellow out and relax, or focus on writing. Actually, it's the perfect album for everything.
  8. Soldier
    by Yoe Mase
Soldier, Pt. 2 Soldier, Pt. 2
As a writer, symbolism is one of my favorite things ever. And this album has a lot of it. In a sense, the name of the album is symbolism itself. A soldier not fighting a war with guns - but a war with themselves, and their past. You'll be filled with a newfound determination in your chest that only grows and grows the more you listen. It's comforting, in a weird but good sort of way.
  9. Life In Boxes
    by Yoe Mase
    Truthseeker Truthseeker
"Life In Boxes" is a journey from beginning to end - an experimental album that isn't experimental, a symbolic album that isn't about anything - there's hardly words to describe it. And I love that. It's so unique, it's so unlike anything else, and I always find myself Floating back to it.
  10. An Unfiltered Stream of Consciousness (Deluxe)
    by Yoe Mase
Bindings In The Cold Bindings In The Cold
Everything Yoe Mase has made has been nothing but absolute bangers. While everything Yoe has made is full of emotion, this is doubly true for AUSOC. Get your tissues and a mop ready, because you'll be flooding your room with tears by the time the final track comes on.
  11. The Making of a Paracosm
    by Kasbo
Talk Slow (feat. Noomi) Talk Slow (feat. Noomi)
Kasbo has done it again! Another album that'll whisk you away to a place that only exists inside your mind. While Kasbo's style itself has not changed much, the overall tone of this album is one of longing, finding purpose and light in a dark world. Each song is, as you can expect from Kasbo, full of emotion and beauty. I'm nearing the character limit, but I still have so much to say, jeez! That should tell you something, huh? Get the album, promise you won't regret it!
  12. Places We Don’t Know
    by Kasbo
Aldrig Mer (feat. TENDER) Aldrig Mer (feat. TENDER)
A true masterpiece in the EDM scene and a criminally underrated album. Places We Don't Know is a special album that will whisk you away to somewhere new, someplace beyond imagination. Essentially, each track will take you to a new place in your mind, a place you don't know. And they're some of the most beautiful places you could be. In the words of the artist himself, "So maybe sometimes it's the Places We Don't Know that are the most beautiful."
  13. The Color of Nothing
    by ford.
Pay No Mind (feat. Lani Rose) Pay No Mind (feat. Lani Rose)
Who knew colors AND nothing could sound so beautiful? The Color of Nothing stands on its own as one of the best albums I own. The production is phenomenal, and the sounds are absolutely mesmerizing. The intro track alone makes me feel like I'm floating among clouds and through the world in a new lens. "The Color of Nothing" is a pretty misleading title - this is a colorful album that feels like everything at once in the best way possible.
  14. Tetris® Effect: Connected (Original Soundtrack)
    by Hydelic
Connected (Yours Forever) [Acoustic Mix] Connected (Yours Forever) [Acoustic Mix]
The Tetris Effect soundtrack isn't something that can be explained, only experienced. From Connected to Mind Echos, you'll be going on a journey like no other. You don't even have needed to play the game to fully enjoy this album. Just close your eyes, put on some headphones, and enjoy the ride!
  15. Living With People
    by Renouncer
Love & Squalor Love & Squalor
It's rare that you'll find an album that can get you into a completely new genre. But that's exactly what Living With People did for me - I've managed to get into indie rock because of this album! Everything from Coming Around til Pro-Drinking Song is stuff you'll never forget, and everything you'll wish you could listen to for the first time again.
  16. Living Without People
    by Renouncer
Once In A Blue Mood Once In A Blue Mood
B-Sides or not, Living Without People is a great companion EP to an amazing album. I agree that these songs do best in their own collection. While Living With People is mostly minor key, Living Without People is major key, giving a *major* shift in tone, wink wink. Even still, if you liked anything from Living With People, you'll love this companion EP.
  17. (The) Evening
    by ford.
Who's to Say Who's to Say
A very calming album with a vibe of summer, though strangely it feels more like it's cycling through the day rather than just... THE evening. I still love it, though. It's an album like no other.
  18. Chillhop Essentials Winter 2019
    by Chillhop Music
    Melted Melted
This album may say winter, but it's good all year round if you need a way to mellow out and relax. Probably my favorite chill album of all time.
  19. Reviver Stem Pack
    by Lane 8
Can't say I ever saw myself getting a stem pack, but with every song on Reviver getting stuck in my head, it's made me wanna make remixes. Also, I guess this counts as my copy of the album...? If you're planning on purchasing, be ready to download a whopping 22GB! Totally worth it, though!
  20. About Us
    by Kisnou
Beautifully crafted ambient track that always gets me in my feels. It sorta reminds me of a love I once had, but now had lost. It's not really a song "about us", but rather it feels like a song about what could've been.
