This, this is the good stuff. Weedpecker has got to be among the cream of the crop of Stoner Rock. These guys can stand with the giants.

I have never been so excited for an album release in my life. This band is like no other, they are equivalent my generation's SLEEP. This LP will be to Elder as Master of Reality was to Sabbath. BEHOLD THE ELDER!!!!

    by Bison Machine

    Old Moon Old Moon
The year is off to a damn good start with Bison Machine. I remember their 4-track EP being one of the first things I got on Bandcamp, and absolutely loving it. This album is even better with fantastic artwork to boot. These guys need to start putting prices on their albums because getting amazing music like this on bandcamp for free is a sin.
  27. Unwanted and Worthless
    by Troll Teeth
    00:00/00:00
Watch the Roads Watch the Roads
Not a fan of the cover art but a HUGE fan of the riffs. It's a shame that this came out so late in the year it likely won't make many top 10 lists, even though it probably deserves to be there.

    Bending Roads Bending Roads
Holy shit, thanks Nato! Probably one of the greatest discoveries I've had on bandcamp so far. This album was mixed and mastered by the legendary BILLY ANDERSON so no wonder it sits completely at another level than their other stuff. I get chills listening to each track and just listening feels like I'm stoned and having sex with a wah-wah pedal. I think that I've fallen in love with STONEBRIDE. If you're a fan of Stoner Rock, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't listen to this.

When it comes to Stoner Rock, you can't get much better than this, in my opinion. One of my favourite albums in my collection. I really hope they're coming out with new stuff soon. If I'm ever in Quebec City, I'll be sure to see if these guys are playing. 10/10

    00:00/00:00
05 It Will Survive The Tide 05 It Will Survive The Tide
This is one of the best Sludge EP's I've ever heard. I have no idea why this isn't getting more attention.
  37. Solar Plexus
    by Slomind
    00:00/00:00
06 Thru The Eyes of God 06 Thru The Eyes of God
It's not often that I'll come across a stoner/sludge band on bandcamp that is as well mixed as Slomind, packing monstrous catchy hooks, a stellar sludge vocalist while simultaneously not garnering much deserved attention. You've got my money, Slomind.
  38. Crack of Dawn
    by Burn the Sun
    00:00/00:00
    Desert Flowers Desert Flowers
Some of the smoothest, grooviest stoner psychedelia I've heard in a long time. The song Desert Flowers is really stellar in that it will take you on one hell of a journey whether you're stoned or not.
  39. Passing Through The Mastery Door
    by Mamont
    00:00/00:00
    Mammuten Mammuten
Sweeden has done it again. Once in a while an album comes along that can define a genre in the way that listeners can point to it and say "Now THAT'S Stoner Rock". Riffs so heavy but psychedelia so light that this album feels like a stoned mammoth stomping through an ethereal clouded landscape. If this work of Stoner genius doesn't get your head nodding then you're probably already dead and listening to this record in heaven.

  41. Something Supernatural
    by Crobot
    00:00/00:00
Queen of the Light Queen of the Light
There is a strength to this debut album that is very rare to come across, something only seen in the giants of the genre. This album even stands taller than the stuff other Stoner/Hard Rock giants have released recently (I'm looking at you, Wolfmother). The sheer quality of the music in this album is absolute. Their sound reminds me of WolfMother, Soundgarden and QOTSA as if they were all placed in a groovy blender. This album really is something supernatural. 2014 Album of the year IMO.
  42. Songs of Steel & Sorrow
    by Fall of an Empire
    00:00/00:00
    Vagrant Blues Vagrant Blues
How did I miss this?! This is the best stoner rock I've heard all year! It's not often that I'll buy an album after just listening to the first two minutes of the opening track. I can't pick a favourite track they're all so damn good! The riff is strong with this one, ladies and gentlemen.
  43. I
    by OLDE
    00:00/00:00
Bodies on Bodies Bodies on Bodies
This is some damn good stoner riff-laden sludge, coming outta Toronto no less! When you listen to this album you feel like you're riding a wild bear and I feel like the album art captures this nicely.
  44. The New Order Of The Cosmos
    by The Cosmic Trigger
    00:00/00:00
    Slave Slave
What first drew me was the stellar cover art design, and then I listened, and boy did I ever listen. Some of the best top fucking notch progressive, psychedelic stoner rock ever. I hit play and this album just captured me in it's heavy irresistible riffs. I feel privileged to be the first to review this album on bandcamp.
  45. CRYPT TRIP
    by Crypt Trip
    00:00/00:00
    Wraiths Wraiths
Had been highly anticipating this release since I heard their EP. Love this band's sound, love the new album cover, love everything. I see a bright future for Crypt Trip, they're certainly rising to the top of my playlist again.
