    I have a great tape player in my car, for the longest time I have had Pile - You're Better Than This on repeat. This album is a welcomed change for me with its collection of short and sweet bass driven songs, its noisy, but Alex's vocals provide this really awesome contrast.

    getting the most out of a low fidelity recording style with awesome song writing / structures with crazy time signatures. the vocals are blended in perfectly, never taking away from the songs while at the same time sounding raw and emotional. this album strikes the beginning for loud/soft dynamics in their songs, even right at the start with uncle jill. 10/10

    They really tried to do a lot of different stuff with this album, I cannot compare Tin Foil Hat as a track to any other band, this album continues to define and refine their style. plus the freaking album artwork is so awesome, its worth picking up the Vinyl.
