Optimistic and brooding drones by turn, this is a varied album. The Arabic(?) tones of track 1 were initially not to my taste, but nevertheless I found them challenging to listen to (yet the more often I listen to the track - it's growing on me! It's got something different about it - perhaps it's the plucking, plodding synth sound which gives the track its momentum...). A great album which I'm challenged by.
