Meninos da rua Meninos da rua
Unique in every sense of the word. I first heard Miami Boats through a playlist called Crystal Tokyo back in 2016, I nicknamed it the Coke playlist. But here with Reinventions there are a few unexpected hits which I really like. I love Meninos da rua as it feels like a song used for a 1980's car advert. Funk Part IV sounds so sexy and hard hitting. And then there's Miami Boats with its own sense of style and luxury. Yes Reinventions is a must listen if you love Vaporwave.

    Go Ahead Go Ahead
Yes, Nerd City brought me here with the Future Funked George Benson's "Give Me The Night" (1980) titled as Paradise City. It is a fantastic track that I play for personal celebrations. But it was "Go Ahead" that made me stay for more sweet flavored replays.

A fresh sounding track with a smooth intro. Confusion leaves you with good vibes from beginning to end. Definitely the start of something special.

I feel like I'm in a Japanese night club when I play this album. Minus the angry looking Yakuza dudes drinking at the tables. Lots of fun to be had here with many great songs. My favourite track is "This Feeling" along with "Horsey" and "Bad Girl". But every track is worth listening too.

    Celebration Celebration
First listen to this album on Apple Music upon release. Every song is a banger no doubt but my favorite track is a fast beat take on A Taste of Honey's "Ain't Nothin' But A Party" (1980) titled Celebration. This album is worth your time as it had been for mine. Play it!
