Relatively simple yet intricate and haunting beats with subtle touches and rich pads and background instruments. Lyrics clearly express genuine feelings and reflexion and his vocal flow is both eloquent and warm with some really cool fast talk bits. i'm sensing a bit of a trip-hop, dreamy vibe as well and it's another really good surprise that complements the unique mood he's setting up.
Best discovery of the past years for me musically. It's tight, well composed, original, beautiful lyrics, haunted and carefully crafted and told world. I could listen to it over and over and never get tired (and I have!)
Fan of the first hour with Aion, which I think of as the best prog rock album of this decade (I'm barely exagerating). The follow up album shows more instrumental mixity and recording mastery and maturity, and I'm happy to notice that the band is touching more and more people.
