An album with a more progressive and uptempo sound and a strong beat compared to previous albums from Koan. The energy is high from start to finish, no filler tracks, no intro, no outro. A pleasure to listen to from start to finish.
These Zelda classics by Koji Kondo would probably sound akin to these renditions if he remade them today with modern technology. All tracks are immediately recognizable for seasoned Zelda fans, yet add so many new sound layers and instrumentals it is a whole novel listening experience.
It lends itself perfectly as background music - despite its short length - thanks to the piano that forms a perfect intermission for the main melody. On its own merit it's a great track to listen to as well.
