Chained Echoes’ soundtrack succeeds in sucking players into the game’s world thanks to its vivid blend of rousing tracks and ambient tunes. The OST helped make every individual location and story event sound unique and epic, which only made me want to explore more of the virtual space.

As always, Cicada Sirens rouses the senses with haunting tunes that have ambient drones, echoing piano notes, and the like blend into a sonorous package that won’t so much leave an impression on listeners as latch onto their minds and hardly let go. Such is the potency of tracks like Mimicry, Husk, and Matchbox Signs.

If Silent Hill 2, Quake, and Lorn got together, chances are they would’ve begotten the tunes heard in SIGNALIS.

Melancholy, eerie, and oozing tension, SIGNALIS’s OST succeeds in amplifying the horrors and rare bouts of respite that players encounter on their journey to find LSTR’s companion.

Highlights include Train Ride, Dowsing, and MNHR—their melodic undertones nicely contrasting with the metallic soundscape that permeates the experience.
