This is an expertly written album that mixes both difficult musicianship with catchy melodies. Ether After does not seem afraid to constrain themselves on what should be typically included in a song. No discernable verse/chorus structure? Sure, they'll try it. A jazz breakdown in the middle of a rock song? Why not.
I highly recommend pulling up the lyrics to the songs as you listen along, as there is a story being told throughout the album.
