The Hollow Cult The Hollow Cult
Heard the Scales EP on YouTube, came here to see what goodies Voidship has created, found this masterpiece. Being so poor I should be at the gym collecting soap slivers from the shower drain, I had to pick one. From the pounding drums of The Hollow Cult to the creepy line in Caul (Who's blood is this? -been there, thought that), this is a monster EP. Sure, I hear influences, but I like the influences, and I love what Voidship has created. This is on my all-time favorites list. Thanks, Voidship!
  3. Neuremesis

    Avalon Avalon
Jerky Dirt never disappoints. Another great album of fuzz, riffs, and I dig the dissonant (not sure what the correct term is) vocals on Avalon and Animals, a sign of continued musical experimentation. Thanks for being a major part of my life's soundtrack since 2018!
  4. Chirality

    Beelzebubba Beelzebubba
Amazing, OCD-style arrangements, never a dull moment. From the misleading intro of the opening song to the monstrous pounding fuzz of the closer, this one keeps you guessing and gives a glimpse into other dimensions.

    by Gnome
Gnome rocks your face off, I've been waiting a long time for their return and this track shows they're still Gnoming like only a Gnome could Gnome. More, please!
  6. Orse

Orse, part 2 Orse, part 2
Such a great album, hard to pick a favorite when they're all so good!

BAD MAMA JAMA BAD MAMA JAMA
Such a great and wondrous noise, with surprising lyrics. Shoulda kept the singer, he had a vibe.

    Slow Burn Slow Burn
Jerky Dirt has a great sense of album organization, a grooving vibe, and the best quality guitar sounds of any band in stoner rock (that's where I place them, YOU decide). I've enjoyed every album they've released, and I'm itching for more. Set your pretensions aside, herb it up, turn out the lights (or go out in the dark), and ingest these wonderful sounds from a galaxy not so far away.

    Bronst Bronst
This music is awesome, these guys are pushing all boundaries. I listen to rock music, normally, and these guys fit right into my playlist. This is what music should be about. Bronst is my favorite, and I'm still trying to learn it on guitar, by ear, but This Is Water, They're Already Here, shit, EVERY song on this album kills it! I hope to see them live, someday, if we make it through this 2020 idiot-fest. STAY INSIDE FOR MOON HOOCH!
  13. John Garcia And The Band Of Gold
    by John Garcia
John Garcia is one of the greats, and he's in his groove on this album. I liked "Don't even think about it" more as an acoustic song, but this album is awesome, all the way through. Thanks for keeping it real.

    New Wave New Wave
These guys rock, in their own awesome way. I love hearing bands that do what they like, regardless of what gets on mainstream radio. Instrumentals abound, the singer can fit his ego through a doorway without getting stuck, and the sound quality is phenomenal.
I have a lot of favorite songs on this album, but after however many years it's been (time is different, now), New Wave is definitely a standout achievement. I would call it a timeless classic. You decide.
