David Hamburger makes it all look so easy, but beneath the surface, there's not just first-class tasty blues/jazz guitar chops but a first-class lyrical and melodic mind attuned to the wry and comic contradictions of modern life.
Rootsy, powerful, gutsy and entertaining- this is a superb EP,and demonstrates the talent, melodicism, wit and charm of Eric and Nancy. Excellent production too. Great stuff, highly recommended.
The ever-inventive and fertile mind of Pete Murphy knows no bounds here- a blast from beginning to end, the music, production, lyrics and performance are incredible, engaging, gripping and ever surprising- this is a one of a kind event that should be required listening!
