Midnight Flyer formed in 2014. Drawing on the sterling examples of Stanley Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, Jimmy Martin and the Osborne Brothers, the band’s high harmonies, clean picking, and rhythmic tension combine to produce a hard driving sound that reminds contemporary listeners of the timeless pleasure of traditional bluegrass music.
