This is an awesome record that shows a definite evolution of the Master Boot Record sound toward a real meaty, "chip metal" kind of sound, though without actually being chiptune in composition. I love how there is a variety of metal styles present on the album, and that the "lead guitar" synth is a very clean, traditional sounding keyboard, versus trying too hard to mimic a screaming lead guitar. It provides a nice counterpoint to the lower-register, "distorted" sound of the riffs.
