She's creating something so simple on the surface, yet transfixing with every listen. I listen to a lot of music and I look for hidden gems on Bandcamp. This may be my favorite Bandcamp discovery ever.

    Übermorgen - extended Übermorgen - extended
    Perfect German electronic pop. Her music is wonderful to begin with; add these musical guests an the results are amazing. Kohncke was a brilliant choice for a musical pairing with Morgenstern, and I like the hint of rugged darkness in the last track 'Kein Wag'. Looking forward to hearing the full length LP, 'Doppelstern'.

    Fantastic! Dark, atmospheric, great songwriting. Particularly like the harder edge to this album than 'Crisis'. Easily one of my favorite albums this year, and I'm saying this after only 5 tracks in on the first listen.

    The Foyer The Foyer
    Mr. Demure has created something wonderful. It's a great pop record, it's 80's reverb goth, darkwave, spiraling with guitar melodies and huge drums. I've listened to this album every day this past week, and it's such a joy to hear.

    I listen to a lot of music, old and new. This reminds me of 80's 4AD goth, some early Xymox, bits of Cocteau Twin guitar; a kind of bombastic and dark synth pop. Did I mention the reverb? My god, he uses it like another instrument. This is truly an album that came out of nowhere and reminded me how much I love discovering new music.

    Finally, he may have very clear influences and he may "sound like he's trying to 'be' such and such band", but he's twisting all of those influences into something new, modern, and glorious. The cover art is perfect. This will absolutely be one of my favorite albums of 2015.

    I've followed Crossover since the first album in the early 2000's, back when someone, somewhere thought this was 'electroclash' (blech, remember this ridiculous music catagory?)
    A more accurate description is 'pop', since they have a great handle on classic song structure and wonderful melodies. You could also use the term 'minimal wave' since they have a sound close to that. But keep in mind Crossover was making this music before minimal wave became fashionable.
    Anyway, great songs with simple but dark, atmospheric lyrics. Spooky atmosphere and great use of electronic percussion. Crossover continue to make great music. I guess we can call it 'darkwave' or something... I prefer 'great electronic'.
