    by Crushing Blows

The People You Will Never Meet The People You Will Never Meet
I have waited for years for this album. Crushing Blows pull off more with two members than most bands manage with four. The songs are lovely jangly pop ditties which nod to the recent past with forward thikning eyes.
  19. Distal
    by Crash Of Rhinos
    00:00/00:00
    Big Sea Big Sea
Kinseller style vocals bellow above a caucophony of loudness. Emotive and raucous. Homegrown honesty.
  20. Route One or Die
    by Three Trapped Tigers
    00:00/00:00
    Cramm Cramm
So basically imagine Squarepusher-esque synthtronika but with a live drummer. Now imagine that live drummer is one of the best you've ever heard. Now imagine that the two guys at the front with synths also play guitar. Okay. Now you get why I love this album.

Mutha Hubbard, Wha' Choo Doin' In Ma Cupboard?! Mutha Hubbard, Wha' Choo Doin' In Ma Cupboard?!
AMTP take post-rock and math-rock monikers and stomp all over them with really heavy boots whilst naked and covered in jam. If that doesnt sound like fun then this isn't for you.

Heart Monitor was the first thing I heard by worriedaboutsatan and it drew me with it's quiet sense of reflection. I have been a fan ever since.

    22nd 22nd
These guys were the pride of Birmingham's music scene at one stage. Anybody who gave a shit about DIY music rated these boys for their hard work and fresh perspective on hardcore as 'naughty indie'. 22nd was the tune that woke me up to Blakfish! RIP

Beautifully textured and expertly produced. These 4 tracks just go round and round on my car stereo at the moment and I hear something new each time!
