    by Norman David
I LOVE these recordings. Yeh that's right! I LOVE these recordings. What a band! What a collection of beautifully written and played compositions. Tasteful, always refined, and explosive too. I dig these cats. What more can one say? Norman has magic in his mind and conveys it to the band and ultimately to the listener! Lucky me. Lucky YOU if you are astute, have good ears, and are smart enough to purchase the entire Norman David discography! Favorite Track? You tell me. I'm just blown away.
  4. Norman David and The Eleventet: Continuing Action
    by Norman David
Continuing to be thrilled! These compositions by Norman are beyond brilliant & one finds these artistic, colorful 'paintings' framed with the most beautifully complex designs. The expressive musicianship throughout the ranks of Norm's band is most impressive. These tracks are a gold mine for the ears and imagination. Favorite track? Impossible to choose.
  5. Norman David and The Eleventet: Please Call
    by Norman David
Genius level work for sure. Norman and the band pitch another perfect game! When one listens to this band, thoughts of multiple GRAMMYS for best jazz album come to mind. The depth, scope, and sheer broadranging interplay within these compositions is astounding. These tunes are freakishly addictive! PLEASE CALL the paramedics! Cats be swingin'! My imagination is under the spell of the great Norman David! Favorite track? Ain't gonna happen...no way to choose... Fuhgettiboutit...
  6. Norman David and The Eleventet: On Point
    by Norman David
Incredible album from start to finish. I've been a huge fan of big band forever. My father was a Sax player and hipped me to explosive big band stuff while I was still in Mum's womb. We shared this between us, and so, when I heard Norman David's incredible work I freaked out and just had to have all of his albums! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy great music and learn! Favorite track? Impossible to choose.
  7. Norman David and GROUP 4: There's Room For All
    by Norman David
A wonderful adventure with jazzed out feel, groove, and a deep connection between the bandmates. Norm is on fire here from the opening track. Serious exploration to the musical edge of the highest mountains. Completely digging the vibe. Incredible sensitivity throughout, too.Tremendous detail to every note played. I've always maintained every note counts. Norm and the guys are all about it, man. Favorite Track? All of them.
  8. Norman David and The Eleventet: Crazy in Philly!
    by Norman David
Refined & magnificent, Crazy In Philly is replete with eNORMously entertaining compositions, arrangements, and stellar performances by the entire band. All of Norm's albums are like 4 years of music college in one sitting. Amazing stuff. Favorite track? Are you serious? No way to pick one.

    passing through passing through
Zedmeco never ceases to amaze me with his ability travel to new worlds far beyond the reaches of mere mortals. His imagination is as endless as the universe itself. In fact, this first track is taking me...elsewhere and far far away.
  11. playing in caves
    by zedmeco
The Great Zedmeco! I'm jumping from album to album just to get a taste of each before I drill down and do a marathon listening session now that I've purchased the entire catalog. Best money I've spent in a long time.
  12. the pentland hills
    by zedmeco
Very abstract, cool tunage with a twist of lemon and a cool crisp glass of sparkling water. Images of a cafe along a pleasant brook permeate my thoughts as this first tune enters my psyche.

Watch out! Zedmeco is flying straight into your imagination on this one. Hold on for a serious ride fraught with intrigue, danger, and sci fi brilliance.
  14. journey to the middle of my head
    by zedmeco
    undulations undulations
Introspective view within the confines of the mad genius himself. Zedmeco goes deep...and then some more. WICKED man, WICKED cool.
  15. hidden aspects
    by zedmeco
Zedmeco illuminates quite a bit of painful reality. One can only hope he finds the light and perhaps these startling compositions will get us there, at least for a little while whilst we listen and groove out to these very interesting tracks. I rather hope we all find our way through to brighter days. That said, these are some jazzed out tracks, man.

matter anti matter matter anti matter
I don't exactly know what you guys mean when you use the word WONK to descibe certain music, but this tunage is wonked out to the max as far as I'm concerned. Love it, Z Man! Wonk away, baby! I hear some awesome jazz here, too. I love that a lot! There is also a serious hypnotic element to all of your albums. Just realized that, man. Well played Z, well played!
  19. kryptonite death ray 8
    by zedmeco
Right from the opening notes, the listener is treated to some audio magic! The track evolves, as do all of the compositions Zedmeco authors. This always makes the listener wonder, what is coming next? Where is he going to take this....hmmmm. Just groove out and see! Favorite track? All of them.
