One of those albums that you sit and listen to with headphones and let take you on a journey. At times it's dark, melancholy and heavy, and other times it's atmospheric and hopeful, yet there's a really distinct mood throughout.

Hints of A Perfect Circle, Tool, Karnivool, Alice in Chains, Deftones, etc, yet something entirely new going on here. Expect lush guitars, dark soundscapes, tasteful drumming, and Maynard-esque vocals. Requires a few listens to fully appreciate.

I thoroughly enjoyed both songs. The writing has progressive undertones, yet the songs remain accessible and down to earth, almost Radiohead-like in places. I love how Subsolar transitions seamlessly into Sublunar, even though they are quite different songs. These guys are bringing something really unique and honest to the genre.

The idea of 'chapters' suggests that it will eventually be a concept album, which I'm a big fan of, and will be waiting for patiently!
