Tunnel of Light Tunnel of Light
Loving these timeless offerings. There's something very Joy Division about 'Tunnel Of Light' while 'Trick Shot' is a fave for its audacious rhythms and groove-laden hypnotic swing. I'm sure to unearth even more gems with repeated listens. I've included Tunnel of Light, Trick Shot and an obscure promo cut via SoundCloud that samples 'Sexuality' by Prince. That title escapes me at the moment but these have all had airtime in my MixSets. Ace!

    This Walk This Walk
Love this song so much that I had to purchase not 1 but 3 copies. Infinite blessings G&D and I'm grateful to SOS for the music and the message. As a music collector and retailer, a full 'Mama, You Can Bet' vinyl LP wouldn't be lost on consumers.

    This Walk This Walk
I selected 'This Walk' as my favorite track because it brings to mind both Nina Simone and Björk. Alas, this is Georgia Anne Muldrow and she stomps with every musical endeavor. Ancestral Duckets' and 'Hard Bap Duke' have gotten much singled repeat. 'Orgone' is stunning in that her vocals seem to boomerang from Africa back to the USA. Basically, tracks 1 thru 13 are one favorite song, for me. Ace record all-around and hopefully, a Jazz Grammy nod/win.

    Prophet 3 Prophet 3
As someone who has had his ear on Lisa Coleman since 1980, she can do no wrong. It's no small feat to leave me winded nearly 30 years later but 'Prophet 3' did just that. 'Balloon' and 'I've Got a Big Bowl of Cherries' are other breathtaking compositions from prior releases.
