A beautifully melancholic collection of piano forward ambient tracks. There was such an attention to detail in the arrangement of these songs as every part feels as if it should play into the next. There is loneliness and sorrow imbued across each movement, but at the heart of this album there is an underpinning of a distant hopefulness. I felt as if I was at the shoreline, the overcast sky promised me nothing, yet the dimmest of lights beckoned me to find rest.
