Alec L. Critten said much of what I wanted to say. My 10 year-old self would seek out strange foreign stations on a transistor radio late at night. I imagine finding and being drawn to this, a self-contained alien world, understated but confident in its uniqueness. Well-crafted enigmatic lyrics with a gentle folky rendition, unusual vocal treatment over lovely guitar work and harmonies, that reward repeated listening.
