there is just something so special and heartfelt and genuine about Connie's music and art. she is truly a one of a kind person. the liner/'program' notes included as a PDF with this album is so fascinating to read through; i love getting a glimpse into her general writing style and all of her notes about each song! i listened to Musicks all the way through in the middle of the night in my room; "Vanity of Vanities" was so beautiful it made me cry. this album is truly a gift!
super cool sound that blends different genres of music together and results in experimental rock perfection. every track is awesome, but i haven't been able to stop listening to Sail Away on repeat since i first heard it!

super cool tunes, makes me think of synth-rock/pop from the 80s and retro supernatural movies, which might be the coolest combination ever? anyways, every track is fantastic!
listening to this album makes me feel like i've been transported to a cool underground lounge, where the band playing is a bunch of smooth, jazzy monsters wearing sunglasses and black suits.
it's like a rock opera with video game characters, and i'm totally obsessed. anyone who loves instrumental rock/metal music that really tells a story should totally check this album out.
