This is some nice Haircuts For Men-type, DJ Shadow-jazzy, trip hop vibes. And if someone asks me what kind of music I'm listening to, I'm not going to say "barber music" and seem like a cornball. Perhaps it's a bit more evolved, but it's trip-hop all the same, and would go well alongside 'Cinematic Orchestra' if you want an example from the "era" of trip-hop "from oh, so long ago, we need a new name for it," give me a break.

The music this band makes is so sweet! If indie pop music dominated the airwaves, this group would be a champion up there with Crumb, TOPS, Yumi Zouma, Kero Kero Bonito... you get the picture. Now get the album.

I love this entire album!!! Caroline Rose is a fucking goddess! So underappreciated which sadly reflects more the state of the people in the world, and not this album which has been criminally slept on.

This entire album is so sublime -- a perfect release for vinyl. Strong Ariel Pink vibes throughout, but still a unique contribution to the world of hypnagogic pop.

I always thought the magic that made 80s new wave alive and vital was gone for good until George Clanton made me realize otherwise. This whole album is a timeless masterpiece!!!
