I’ve been keeping tabs on this band since I first heard Autumn Kings and I feel this is the follow up I was expecting after that album.
Benefitting from the trimmed down run time the arrangement is pretty much blemish free from front to back. An engaging listen with all the hallmarks of what makes the band’s appeal stand out to you (beautiful & heavy).
Worth checking out for any lovers of melodic death/doom metal.
They should be very proud of this release, comfortably their best imo!
